TANJORE DANCING DOLL!

As a child, I was always fascinated by this Tanjore dancing dolls. The wobbling head, the dangling waist, making those dance moves when you simply touch it was such a amusing thing to watch for ever.

This dolls, originated in Thanjavour Tamil Nadu centuries ago. The queen and other famous personalities were replicated as this terracotta dolls.

This is the only place in the whole world where they are still manufactured the same old way!
These dolls make me feel.like a child again.😁

All the shops that i went to, I couldn’t resist touching them all and making them dance for me !
